Why Boys Just Aren’t Made For Science

Despite what the fake news media has been trying to tell you, basic biology cannot be ignored. In this piece we will explore why boys are naturally not suited for the scientific pursuit, and why they should really leave it to Women.

1) Too emotional to be logical

We have all witnessed how easily boys get angry, frustrated and competitive about the most trivial of things. It is honestly beyond me why we would leave any important decision for them to make, but that is what the world has come to.

In the case of science specifically, logic and critical thinking are key. It is easy to see how incompatible these qualities are with the disposition of most boys (#NotAllBoys). Has a scientific discovery ever been made after a burst of anger and frustration?

Exactly.

If you are a boy trying to get into science, I would highly recommend you observe the women around you very carefully and try to mimic their behaviour as best you can. You will struggle at first, but you know what they say: fake it until you make it. And if you don’t make it, don’t worry, you can always get a wife!

2) Great bodies, lesser brains

It is well known that boys are naturally stronger than women. Their bodies were built for manual labour, not for intensive creative thinking. You just can’t change nature.

It is disappointing that these days nearly all boys go to University but none of them can even hunt. It’s like fathers no longer teach their sons to be good husbands, and they now have to resort to taking women’s jobs.

Nonetheless, I do not discriminate. If you are a boy and you want to work for me, you will get equal opportunity, but get ready to work hard to overcome the hindrances of your biology.

3) Motivated by reproduction

Another important point we ought not to forget is also one of the most natural things in the world: the reproductive instinct.

We’ve all witnessed how quickly boys can leap into action when their hormones are rushing through their veins. It is hard to imagine this does not hinder their thinking abilities on the daily. No matter what gender you are, I cannot have people fall in love and get sexually distracted in my lab, and boys are just far more susceptible to this than women. I’m not sexist, that’s just nature.

Academia and research require logical thinking to be unimpeded by other urges. This alone can explain why boys are less suited to the pursuit of science, especially hard sciences that require abstract thought.

* * *

Given all of these hurdles, is it really surprising that most boys don’t choose to study science? When will society stop trying to reach parity, in spite of mother nature and biology? Isn’t it sexist to force boys into science?

Let me know your thoughts!

If you are a boy and you don’t like to be reminded of facts and biology, please don’t get angry. And if you do, you’ll just have proven my point…. isn’t that convenient?

Happy April Fools y’all!

Stop trying to use biology to justify sexism!
